Greg Wolfond
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Greg has a successful track record bringing innovative solutions to the financial industry. His expertise and entrepreneurial skills are evidenced by his founding of Footprint Software Inc., a financial software company which he started in 1983 and later sold to IBM in 1995. Additionally, Greg founded and was CEO of 724 Solutions Inc. from 1997 to 2001, a wireless software infrastructure provider which he took public in 2000.
Greg holds the 1994 award for Canada's Best Managed Private Company for Footprint Software, the 1995 award for Canada's top 40 under 40 and in 2000 was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario, Deans List and a double major, Biochemistry and Life Sciences at the University of Toronto. Greg sits on the board of the Ontario Cancer Biomarker Network (OCBN), NoNo Inc. specializing in post stroke neuroprotection and YYZ Pharmatech which develops tools, targets and biomarkers for pharma.

 

Jaime Shapiro
President

Jaime leads SecureKey's corporate functions (Finance, Legal & HR) and corporate development activities.

Jaime brings nearly 20 years of experience as an executive, venture investor and strategy consultant, with a particular focus on financial services related technologies.   Previous roles have included developing new businesses as President of Blue Sky Capital, executing M&A and strategic investment transactions as VP Corporate Development at 724 Solutions Inc. and advising leading banks and insurance companies as a member of A.T. Kearney's NYC-based Financial Institutions Group.

Jaime graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was recognized as a Palmer Scholar.

 

Andre Boysen
EVP, Digital Identity and Authentication Services

Andre’s role is to identify and partner with companies that can benefit strategically from SecureKey’s technology. This partnering includes work on government applications for online service delivery relating to health care, driver and vehicle programs, justice, and social programs.

Andre was the Co-Founder of 724 Solutions and, holding the position of Chief Technology Officer, was responsible for developing the company's products and forming business alliances. Prior to that, Andre was Chief Technology Officer for Footprint. As CEO of Footprint's Asia Pacific business from 1994 to 1996, he established operations in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. Between 1990 and 1994, he served as CEO of Open Systems Limited, which developed turnkey client-survey systems for several large companies. Andre has also served on the boards of several technology companies, including 724 Solutions Inc., Dexit Inc., Footprint Software Pty Ltd, and 305 Management Services, a private equity fund in Atlantic Canada.

Andre holds a BA Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and a BSc in Mathematics Education from the University of Maine Presque Isle.

He currently lectures at Wilfred Laurier’s Schlegel Entrepreneurship Centre on venture creation, raising money, and managing new companies for success, and in 1999, he was named one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 in recognition for his vision, leadership and career accomplishments.

 

Pierre A. Roberge
EVP, Financial Solutions

Pierre is a co-founder of SecureKey and brings over 16 years of experience at the forefront of the online payment marketplace. His knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing innovative online solutions spans e-commerce, m-commerce, mini-payment, and prepaid services.

Pierre was a co-founder and co-inventor of Dexit, the first open contactless cash replacement (prepaid) service in North-America. Pierre also worked on Veev, North America's first integrated wireless banking, brokerage and lifestyle content service, with Bank of Montreal and 724 Solutions. Pierre has a Baccalaureate in Commerce, honours in Management Information Systems from the University of Ottawa, Canada.

 

Robert Blumenthal
EVP, Marketing & Business Development

Robert is a senior executive with more than 25 years experience in the telecommunications and technology industries leading marketing, business development, and product strategy.

Formerly the President of Virgin Mobile Canada, he led the transformation of the once low-value prepaid mobile service provider into an innovative, fiercely competitive, full-service service provider with strong national distribution.

Previously, Robert held a number of positions that helped drive innovation in wireless and telecommunications including, CEO of Digit Wireless, a user interface technology licensing firm, Senior Vice President of products and services at TELUS, one of Canada’s leading telecommunications companies, and vice president at Clearnet, an early PCS new entrant that was subsequently acquired by TELUS.  Earlier in his career, Robert also worked on product and technology strategy at Bell-Northern Research.

Robert holds Bachelors (Honours) and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from McGill University, and a Diploma in Marketing from the University of Western Ontario’s Ivey School of Business.  He also sits on a number of advisory boards providing his experience in technology and consumer marketing.

 

Hugh Cumming
EVP, Technology & Operations

Hugh Cumming is an experienced technology professional with 20 years of executive management success in leading global IT, operations and software development teams in the Financial Services, Wireless and BPO industries.

Prior to SecureKey, Hugh held a number of senior executive roles, including Chief Information Officer at the Co-operators, one of Canada's largest Insurance companies, and CIO for ADP Canada, a Fortune 500 company in the financial services sector, where he was responsible for building and running ADP’s payroll and HR SAAS products and data processing infrastructure.
As an entrepreneur, Hugh was CTO and one of the founders of WebHelp, an early pioneer in eCRM, as well as Senior Vice-President, Product Development and CTO for 724 Solutions, a publicly traded wireless infrastructure company focusing on the financial services industry.  He also held various increasingly senior roles in technology architecture and software development at SITEL Canada and Europe, IBM and EcoLab Ltd.

Hugh has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of Toronto.
