Payment Solutions with OneTap®
SecureKey makes online commerce easier and more secure, by allowing users to provide strong assurance that they are the valid cardholder. Assurance can be delivered as a card-generated cryptogram delivered securely via a tap to the user’s card reading phone, laptop or USB card reader. Assurance can also be delivered in the form of a hardware-based cryptogram delivered from any SecureKey-enabled phone or laptop. In addition to adding security, SecureKey solutions can improve the checkout experience.
- OneTap ® Form Fill – lets users checkout faster and easier at online merchants without having to setup a new merchant account; This option is completely transparent to the merchant, and does not require any changes to the merchant’s website or payment process.
- OneTap ® Merchant Express – provides an even faster ‘click-to-pay’ working with online wallet services or directly with online merchants. This option requires some merchant integration to provide a new payment button on the checkout page, and greatly speeds up the checkout process.
OneTap ® uses a similar level of security and encryption technology used in point of sale terminals to ensure that card data is delivered securely to payment networks for validation. Profiles of registered cardholders provide supplemental information such as shipping address to merchants to safely complete the checkout.
Most importantly, the SecureKey OneTap ® solution uses encrypted dynamic card data to validate the payment card, versus the card’s security code or CVV which is easily copied or stolen. Users can be confident that their card information cannot be used by anyone in the payment process, other than that which they authorize. Merchants can be secure that the user in fact has the card present and it authorized to use it.
SecureKey OneTap ® supports a wide range of payment cards and card form factors, including MasterCard PayPass, Visa payWave, Discover Zip, Interac Flash and NFC compliant mobile handset or any other contactless form factor that supports proximity (ISO/IEC 14443) or NFC (ISO/IEC 18092). Our unique technology is being built into desktop and laptop computers, as well as next generation NFC-enabled tablets and mobile phones, creating a vast network of secure “terminals” to read and interact with chip-based cards, virtual cards, and cloud-based electronic “wallets.”
